2. Data We Collect
We only collect the data necessary to provide the service:
- Account data: name and email address.
- Financial data: income, expenses and categories you voluntarily enter.
- Usage data: preferred language and selected currency.
- Subscription data: contracted plan, start and expiry date. We do not store payment data — transactions are handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Authentication data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture provided by Google.
3. Purpose of Processing
We use your data exclusively to:
- Provide you with the personal finance tracking service.
- Manage your account and premium subscription.
- Send you service-related communications (password recovery, etc.).
4. Legal Basis
The processing of your data is based on the performance of the service contract you accept when creating an account in Be Budget Today.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently and immediately deleted from our servers.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. The only external services involved in the process are Apple App Store and Google Play, exclusively for in-app purchase verification.
7. Your Rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability at any time by contacting us at hello@bebudgettoday.com. You can also delete your account directly from the Account section of the app.
8. Security
Your data is stored on secure servers and passwords are stored encrypted. All communications between the app and our servers are always made via HTTPS.
9. Changes to This Policy
Any relevant changes to this policy will be notified through the app or by email.
